We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: PACU Registered Nurse in Santa Barbara, CA.
Requirements:
Required Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS
Required Skills: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Airway assessment, Ambulatory/Outpatient, Antiarrhythmics, Anticoagulation therapy, Circulation Checks, Conscious Sedation, Discharge Instructions, Dysrhythmia recognition/management, Emergency Medications, Extubation LMA/ET, Follow up phone calls, General, Hypothermia protocol, Interpretation and communication of lab values, Intubation, IV vasopressors, Local, Malignant Hyperthermia Protocol, Medication reconciliation, Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC), Narcotics/Opioid Analgesics, Nerve Blocks, Obtain Operative/Procedural Consent, PCA pump management, Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, Placement of Oral/nasal airways, Post-epidural management, Pre-op Assessment, Pre-op Education, Pre-Op Medications, Pre/Post Operative procedures, RASS (Richmond Agitation Sedation Scale), Reversal agents, Review History and Physical, Spinal, Accessing/Managing Ports, Antihypertensives, Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patient, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Pain assessment & management, Phlebotomy, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Starting and maintaining IVs
