Job description
Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking apsychiatrist to join our growing Department of Psychiatry locatedin Southern New Jersey. This is a per-diem position within theDepartment of Psychiatry. The selected candidate will be expectedto provide appropriate, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary care.Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient psychiatricservices within multiple health systems in South Jersey. This rolewill work closely with the clinical staff for the day-to-daytreatment of patients as well as in an academic capacity to teachmedical students, residents, and allied health professionals. Thisposition is available for academic promotion within theuniversity.

Our clinical campuses are in Southern New Jersey, which is withinthe Philadelphia metropolitan area, one hour from the Jersey Shore,an hour and a half from NYC, and two hours from Washington,DC.
This is an hourly paid position.
In compliance with the State of New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act,the hourly rate for this position is $85/hr. When extending anysalary offer, Rowan University considers many factors such as, butnot limited to, scope of responsibilities of the position, workexperience, education, training, key skills, internal equity, aswell as market and other organizational considerations.
This is a non-benefit eligible position.
