nPer Diem Radiation Oncologist
nExeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a per diem Radiation Oncologist to support our team. Under terms of contract, the provider supplies medical services within the scope of licensing, training, credentialing and current standards of care and quality.
nRequirements:
nnnCompletion of accredited medical college/university with Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
n
nnCurrent board certification/eligibility in specialty. If newly graduated from residency, certification must be obtained within three years of graduation.
n
nnSuccessful completion of internship, residency and, if applicable, fellowship
n
nnUnrestricted license to practice within New Hampshire
n
nnCurrent DEA certificate without restriction
n
nnCPR with AED within 6 months of hire
n
n nMajor Responsibilities:
nnnDemonstrates the ability to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of patient served. Provides safe, effective, patient centered care.
n
nnActively supports and works in alignment with the , Vision and Values of the organization in conjunction with applicable Service Excellence initiatives.
n
nnCompletes charting, charge capture, and required paperwork in a timely manner in accordance with Core's policies and guidelines by meeting or exceeding Core Physicians' minimum standards.
n
nnNight and weekend call to be shared among the clinicians as indicated within call group where applicable.
n
nnProvides oversight for clinical services at designated location/s in conjunction with the practice manager.
n
nnProvides clinical supervision to NPs, PAs or others as applicable at designated location/s.
n
nnActively participates in business development planning and implementation.
n
nnStays up-to-date on relevant knowledge base, incorporates new thinking and best practice models into clinical operations and procedures.
n
nnFully participates in Core's quality and risk management program.
n
nnFulfills specialty specific professional responsibilities.
n
nnPerforms other duties as required or assigned.
n
n nPay Range:
n$220.64 - $329.75
nThe pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
