About This Role
The Per Diem Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery, Nights at NYU Langone Health is responsible for delivering safe, therapeutic, and population-specific patient care. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in a collaborative environment and is committed to promoting wellness and optimizing patient outcomes.

Pay: $70/hour
Location: Mineola, NY
Facility: NYU Langone Hospital--Long Island
Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift
What You'll Do
Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Practice in an environmentally safe and healthy manner.
Evaluate nursing practice in relation to professional standards and guidelines.
Collaborate with healthcare consumers, families, and others in nursing practice.
Demonstrate leadership in the profession and practice setting.
Communicate effectively in various formats across all practice areas.
Contribute to quality nursing practice.
Integrate evidence and research findings into practice.
Attain knowledge and competence reflecting current nursing practice.
Practice ethically using the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Coordinate care delivery.
Implement the identified plan.
Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected outcomes.
Identify expected outcomes for individualized plans.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required for employees hired after 9/1/2020
Experience: 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse license
Current and valid BLS certification required
