A leading pharmacy in the Chicago area is seeking experienced per diem pharmacists to support high-volume retail operations. This role demands a dynamic and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, utilizing technology to enhance workflow and patient care.

Schedule: Friday, 3/20, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Tuesday, 3/24, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday, 3/27, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Tuesday, 3/31, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities: Process and intake prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Dispense medications and perform thorough checks and verifications
Manage inventory and respond to patient inquiries
Collaborate closely with technician support to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
Utilize Pioneer Rx software and work seamlessly with automation and dispensing robots
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting
Familiarity with pharmacy automation and dispensing robots is strongly preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with pharmacy staff
Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of pharmacy software systems
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing workflow demands and priorities
Valid Illinois Pharmacist License
