Job description
Provide your expertise as a Per Diem Pharmacist supporting a dynamic pharmacy team in Chicago. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient medication management during key shifts requiring skilled professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
Friday, 3/20 - 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, 3/24 - 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday, 3/27 - 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, 3/31 - 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities: Processing and verifying prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Dispensing medications while maintaining compliance with safety standards
Managing inventory to ensure medication availability
Handling patient inquiries with professionalism and care
Utilizing Pioneer Rx software to support pharmacy operations
Collaborating closely with pharmacy technicians and team members to maintain smooth workflow
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Illinois Pharmacist license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting
Familiarity with automation and dispensing robot technologies is highly preferred
Strong pharmacy intuition with the ability to adapt to changing demands
Tech-savvy with effective communication and teamwork skills
