Job description
An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Infusion Pharmacist to support a dynamic pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC. This contract assignment offers the potential for long-term placement or permanent hire. Candidates with a robust background in home infusion, sterile compounding, and patient-centered care will find this role rewarding. Retail Pharmacists are also considered for contract positions while the search for an infusion pharmacist continues.
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing and verifying medication orders for infusion therapies
Overseeing the preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
Ensuring compliance with USP and standards
Providing clinical support and drug information to staff and patients
Collaborating with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow and patient safety
Maintaining accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
Schedule/Shift: Multiple dates per week, schedule to be confirmed
Desired Qualifications: Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy
Strong sterile compounding skills
Familiarity with USP and guidelines
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
