Job description
A retail pharmacist opportunity is available in Mount Gilead, OH, providing vacation coverage at a managed community health center pharmacy. This per diem role offers a chance to engage in typical retail pharmacy duties within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform standard retail pharmacy duties, including dispensing medications and counseling patients.
Collaborate with a strong pharmacy technician to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
Utilize the Rx30 pharmacy system; experience with this system is preferred but not mandatory.
Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications: Valid Ohio pharmacist license is required.
Retail pharmacy experience is essential.
Previous experience in FQHC/340B settings is highly preferred but not required.
Ability to provide patient-centered care and work effectively in a community health center environment.
Location and Schedule: Mount Gilead, OH, approximately one hour north of Columbus, OH.
Coverage dates: Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26.
Shift: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
