Job description
This opportunity seeks a knowledgeable and dedicated pharmacist to provide weekend coverage at a specialty pharmacy site. The role involves supporting both long-term care and retail pharmacy services, offering variety and professional growth on weekends.
Location: Cold Spring, MN
Schedule:
Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Job Type: Per Diem, ongoing weekend shifts
Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately and efficiently for retail and long-term care patients
Provide expert guidance on prescription medications and patient care
Manage immunizations and provide counseling on medication use
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications / Desired Experience: PharmD degree required
Immunization certification preferred
CPR certification mandatory
Experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy settings
MTM (Medication Therapy Management) certification is a plus
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
