Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail pharmacy in Yreka, CA is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a per diem assignment from October 26 to October 30. This role involves managing a high-volume store dispensing 400-500 prescriptions daily, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. The pharmacy recently transitioned to PioneerRx software, so familiarity or adaptability to this system is highly beneficial.

Schedule/Hours
Monday - Friday
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
Accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions in a timely manner
Providing expert advice to patients regarding medications, dosages, and potential side effects
Managing a high-volume retail pharmacy environment efficiently
Utilizing PioneerRx software for prescription processing and record management
Ensuring compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Collaborating with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth daily operations
Desired Qualifications
Active California Pharmacist License
Recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment
Familiarity with or the ability to quickly learn PioneerRx pharmacy software
