Job description
A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services in a retail setting. This per diem position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to step in immediately, delivering high-quality care within a well-established healthcare environment.

Position Type: Per Diem
Schedule: 4 weeks of coverage starting ASAP
Specific dates and times to be confirmed upon hire
Responsibilities: Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal requirements and patient needs
Review prescriptions for validity and appropriateness to ensure patient safety
Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care
Maintain pharmacy inventory, records, and compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid pharmacist license in California
Previous experience as a retail pharmacist or staff pharmacist role preferred
Strong knowledge of prescription medications and pharmacy operations
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and safety
