nRegistered Nurse Role
nNurses are an integral part of our medical office staff. The Part time Nurse will support our medical offices and ensure that our scholars’ health needs are met.
nThe primary duties of this role include but are not limited to:
n Monitor students or staff who are ill
Supervise prescribed medical treatments and medication administration in accordance with all regulations.
Run a school medical office independently.
Attend field trips with students with high medical needs.
Administer first aid as needed
Participate in emergency services for students and staff in the event of sudden illness or injury.
Provide assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, management, and referral for appropriate medical care of students with acute or chronic health conditions.
Prepare health reports for Nurse Leader, Department of Education and Department of Public Health.
nWho We’re Looking For
nWe seek outstanding people with the following qualifications:
n Must hold a current, valid Registered Nurse License in Massachusetts
Experience working with children and families in a school or community setting preferred
CPR Certified
Strong team orientation
Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

nThis is an academic year position with July off. School hours are 8:25-4:00 for staff. This position will be scheduled for a consistent 2 days a week.
nCompensation: Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Starting hourly rate for an RN is $35.
