nRegistered Nurse Role
nNurses are an integral part of our medical office staff. The Part time Nurse will support our medical offices and ensure that our scholars' health needs are met.
nThe primary duties of this role include but are not limited to:
nnMonitor students or staff who are ill
nSupervise prescribed medical treatments and medication administration in accordance with all regulations.
nRun a school medical office independently.
nAttend field trips with students with high medical needs.
nAdminister first aid as needed
nParticipate in emergency services for students and staff in the event of sudden illness or injury.
nProvide assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, management, and referral for appropriate medical care of students with acute or chronic health conditions.
nPrepare health reports for Nurse Leader, Department of Education and Department of Public Health.
n nWho We're Looking For
nWe seek outstanding people with the following qualifications:
nnMust hold a current, valid Registered Nurse License in Massachusetts
nExperience working with children and families in a school or community setting preferred
nCPR Certified
nStrong team orientation
nBilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

n nThis is an academic year position with July off. School hours are 8:25-4:00 for staff. This position will be scheduled for a consistent 2 days a week.
nCompensation: Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Starting hourly rate for an RN is $35.
