Per Diem School Nurse (RN Only) – West Milford, NJ
Affirmed Home Care is hiring a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a sub-nursing opportunity in West Milford, NJ. This is a meaningful per diem opportunity offering consistent weekday daytime hours and the chance to provide focused care in a supportive school environment.

Job Type:
Per Diem, Weekday Day Shifts Only
Hours: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: West Milford, NJ
Hourly Pay:
$48–$50 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to pediatrics students during school hours - as needed
Administer medications and monitor for reactions or side effects
Record and track vital signs, behavioral observations, and clinical interventions
Respond promptly to any medical emergencies
Assist with daily living activities as needed
Maintain open communication with school staff, parents, and care teams
Ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with care plans
Requirements
Active RN license in New Jersey (Required)
Current CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Previous experience in pediatric care strongly preferred
Ability to follow care plans independently and work without supervision
Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with home care or school nursing
Comfortable using basic technology (Microsoft Word, Outlook, mobile apps)
