Per Diem Outpatient Pharmacist opportunity available for PRN coverage from June 12 through July 31 in Ankeny, IA.
This role involves working in an outpatient setting with low volume prescription verification averaging 40 prescriptions per day. Typical outpatient pharmacist responsibilities include patient counseling and ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Provide patient counseling regarding medication use and safety
Perform standard outpatient pharmacy duties ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards
Qualifications: Active Iowa Pharmacist License
Experience as a pharmacist in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
