Job description
This per diem position is for a Staff Pharmacist role in a retail pharmacy setting located in Ashland, MO. The pharmacist will be the sole pharmacist on site, working alongside full-time pharmacy technicians. Candidates should be comfortable operating independently in this environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
Fill and dispense prescriptions accurately
Perform final verifications on medication orders for accuracy
Qualifications: Active and clear Missouri Pharmacist license required
Recent experience as a pharmacist preferred
New graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered
Software Experience: Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software is preferred to ensure smooth workflow
Schedule: Per diem position, offering flexibility to work varied shifts based on pharmacy needs
