Job description
This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist role providing essential support on a per diem basis, primarily covering vacation and PTO needs. The position is based in a closed-door pharmacy setting attached to a behavioral hospital, with limited walk-in traffic and a daily script volume of approximately 300-400 prescriptions.
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately in compliance with professional standards
Manage prescription processing with an emphasis on safety and patient care
Utilize Enterprise RX software (training provided) to maintain records and workflow
Collaborate with healthcare team members within the behavioral hospital setting
Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy protocols
Qualifications: Recent experience working as a pharmacist, demonstrating up-to-date clinical knowledge
Residency in or near the Wichita, TX area, ideally currently working PRN or part-time
Willingness to learn and work with Enterprise RX software
Detail-oriented with strong decision-making skills in a pharmacy environment
Schedule: Per diem (PRN) position designed to cover vacations and PTO
Site hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
