Job description
A specialty pharmacy in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a qualified Pharmacist for a per diem assignment focused on delivering excellent patient care and medication management. This role involves dispensing prescribed medications, counseling patients on proper usage, and maintaining high standards of customer service within a specialty pharmacy setting.
Schedule:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Total of 96 hours across October dates
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Key Responsibilities: Accurately dispense drugs as prescribed by healthcare providers
Educate patients regarding medication regimens and potential side effects
Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Ensure exceptional quality in patient interactions and service delivery
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Current Pharmacist license in Ohio
Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is highly preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
