Job description
An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmacy services on a per diem basis. This position is located in Hopkins, MO, and requires availability from July 28 through July 31. The role supports a busy retail environment with an average volume of 200 prescriptions daily, working alongside a second pharmacist with strong technician support.
Schedule Options:
July 28-31, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
July 28-31, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities: Accurately check and verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
Provide thorough patient counseling regarding medications and health
Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacist to maintain smooth daily operations
Support retail pharmacy workflows to manage the average daily volume efficiently
Qualifications: Current, clear, and active Missouri pharmacist license
Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
