Job description
A pharmacy opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to work on a per diem basis in Plano, TX. This role offers flexible hours with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, supporting a closed-door pharmacy attached to a behavioral hospital, with limited walk-in traffic. The position is ideal for a pharmacist seeking PRN or part-time work in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescriptions, managing a script count of approximately 300-400 per day
Provide professional medication counseling and ensure patient safety
Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams within the behavioral hospital setting
Utilize Pharmacy software for daily operations; Enterprise RX training will be provided
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Pharmacist with recent experience in a pharmacy setting
Local to the Plano, TX area, actively seeking per diem or part-time pharmacy roles
Open to learning and becoming proficient in Enterprise RX software
Location: Plano, Texas
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Per diem/PRN availability
