Job description
A specialty pharmacy in the Cincinnati area seeks a knowledgeable Pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care on a per diem basis. This role offers a consistent schedule with daytime hours, focusing on delivering superior service and medication management in a specialty setting.
Location:
Cincinnati, Ohio
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Approximately 96 total hours over the month
Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other licensed healthcare providers
Counsel patients and customers on medication usage, side effects, and safety
Ensure accurate prescription processing and adherence to regulatory standards
Maintain a high level of customer service and professional communication
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Ohio Pharmacist license required
Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care settings preferred
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and medication therapy management
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care
