Job description
A well-established group of independently owned pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a PRN/part-time pharmacist to provide support and coverage. This role starts by covering one location with the potential to expand into a floater position, supporting multiple pharmacies within the family of four stores.
Location: Decatur, GA
Job Type: Per Diem with potential to grow to part-time (approx. 30-35 hours weekly)
Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Manage primary retail pharmacy operations and workflow
Dispense an average of 100-150 prescriptions daily
Provide excellent patient counseling and medication therapy support
Utilize PrimeRX software (preferred experience) for prescription processing and inventory management
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless operations across multiple locations as the role expands
Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
Qualifications/Desired Experience: Active pharmacist license in the state
Prior experience in retail pharmacy practice
Familiarity with PrimeRX software is a strong advantage
Strong organizational and communication skills
Flexibility to cover multiple locations when expanded into a floater role
