Job description
A retail pharmacy in Jefferson City, MO, is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for professionals comfortable working as the sole pharmacist on site, supported by a team of full-time technicians, utilizing the Pioneer pharmacy software system.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions
Perform final verification of medications to maintain quality and safety standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active and clear Missouri Pharmacist license
Recent experience as a pharmacist preferred; new graduates welcomed
Ability to work independently as the only pharmacist on staff
Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, specifically Pioneer, is advantageous
