Job description
Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Staff Pharmacist in a retail setting, ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of medications while offering exceptional patient counseling and support. This per diem opportunity offers coverage for a single-day shift, ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible, short-term assignments in a dynamic urban environment.

Bronx, New York (Retail Pharmacy)
Schedule/Hours: Monday, July 13th
1st Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately under direct supervision, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Counsel and advise patients on medication regimens, fostering understanding and adherence.
Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies.
Maintain accurate stock levels and controlled substance records, performing regular inventory checks.
Address and resolve patient issues, including navigating third-party insurance coverage complexities.
Desired Qualifications: Active, clear pharmacist license in the state of New York.
Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software is preferred.
Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach.
