Job description
Pharmacy professionals are needed for per diem roles in various Northern California locations including Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern CA (Redding, Chico). These positions offer flexible shifts averaging 1-2 per week, providing valuable support to retail stores on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures
Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
Provide immunization services in compliance with certification requirements
Utilize McKesson's Enterprise (ERx) software for prescription processing and patient records
Maintain high standards of accuracy, customer service, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience preferred
Immunization certification required
Ability and willingness to commute to different store locations within the assigned areas
Familiarity with pharmacy operations, including staff management and store closing
Experience with McKesson ERx software is advantageous
Location Details: Positions available throughout Northern California: • Sacramento (3-4 pharmacists needed) • Bay Area/North Bay (2 pharmacists needed) • Northern CA cities including Redding and Chico (2 pharmacists needed)
Additional Information: Per diem schedule offers flexibility ideal for part-time pharmacists seeking additional shifts
Mileage reimbursement provided for commutes exceeding 30 miles one way
Candidates should have a reliable means of transportation to travel between sites
