Job description
This per diem retail pharmacist opportunity offers a chance to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a well-managed pharmacy setting located in Brunswick, GA, approximately one hour south of Savannah and one hour north of Jacksonville, FL. The role requires coverage on specific dates over two weeks with flexible scheduling.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday 6/22: 8 AM - 6 PM
Wednesday 6/24: 8 AM - 5 PM
Thursday 6/25: 8 AM - 5 PM
Friday 6/26: 8 AM - 3 PM
Monday 6/29: 8 AM - 6 PM
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care consistent with retail community pharmacy standards.
Open and close the pharmacy, ensuring all operational procedures are followed.
Supervise pharmacy technicians, maintaining efficient workflow and adherence to regulations.
Utilize the Datascan by WinPharm system for accurate dispensing and inventory management.
Collaborate with staff to support optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications: Valid Georgia pharmacist license.
Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings.
Proven ability to open and close a pharmacy.
Demonstrated skill in supervising pharmacy technicians.
Prior experience with 340B pharmacy programs is highly preferred but not mandatory.
Comfortable working with and supported by a skilled pharmacy technician team.
