Job description
An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Infusion Pharmacist to join a pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC. This contract assignment offers the potential for long-term placement or permanent hire. Candidates with a strong background in home infusion and sterile compounding who thrive in dynamic, patient-focused environments are highly encouraged to apply. Retail Pharmacists may be considered for contract work during the search for the infusion pharmacist.
Location: Greensboro, NC
Job Type: Per Diem / Contract
Schedule: Additional dates will be confirmed; likely a few days per week
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing and verifying medication orders for infusion therapies
Overseeing preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
Ensuring compliance with USP and standards for sterile compounding
Providing clinical support and drug information to pharmacy staff and patients
Collaborating with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow and patient safety
Maintaining accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
Qualifications: Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
Recent infusion or home infusion experience required
Strong experience with sterile compounding required
Familiarity with USP and guidelines essential
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
This position offers great exposure to infusion pharmacy practice with the flexibility of per diem scheduling. Retail Pharmacists may also be considered for contract roles on an interim basis.
