Job description
A retail pharmacy position is available for a skilled pharmacist to provide vacation coverage at a community health center pharmacy in Marion, OH. This per diem opportunity requires coverage from Monday, June 22nd through Friday, June 26th, with shifts running from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily.
Marion is located about one hour north of Columbus, offering a convenient location for professionals in the region. The ideal candidate will have retail pharmacy experience and hold a valid Ohio pharmacist license. Previous experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or with a 340B program is highly preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities include:
Performing typical retail pharmacy duties including prescription processing, dispensing, and patient counseling
Collaborating with a strong pharmacy technician team to ensure efficient and accurate operations
Utilizing the Rx30 pharmacy system; familiarity is preferred but training can be provided
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Ohio pharmacist license is required
Proven retail pharmacy experience
Prior work in FQHC or 340B settings is a plus
Ability to work independently while supporting patient care priorities
