Job description
A growing pharmacy group is seeking a skilled pharmacist to provide per diem support initially at one location, with the potential to expand into a part-time floater role covering multiple pharmacy sites across the Atlanta metro area. This opportunity allows for hands-on involvement in retail pharmacy operations within an independent and family-owned group of pharmacies.
Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines
Provide professional counseling and advice to patients regarding medication usage
Manage daily retail pharmacy tasks, including prescription verification, inventory management, and customer service
Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed pharmacist in good standing
Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting, preferably with PrimeRX software
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to multiple locations as the role expands
Location: Position based in the Atlanta metro area, beginning in Tucker, GA with coverage across up to four pharmacy locations
Schedule: Per diem hours, typically 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Potential to grow into a floater position working 30-35 hours per week across several locations
