Job description
A managed pharmacy in West Valley City, UT, is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide essential coverage while their incoming Pharmacy Manager completes relocation. This role offers the opportunity to support a busy pharmacy environment with strong technician assistance, delivering quality patient care during the transition.
Responsibilities include:
Accurately dispensing medications according to prescriptions using Rx30 system
Collaborating with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to ensure efficient workflow
Monitoring medication therapy and counseling patients when needed
Maintaining compliance with pharmacy laws and internal protocols
Managing inventory and ensuring timely medication availability
Qualifications: Valid pharmacist license to practice in Utah
Proficiency with pharmacy management software, preferably Rx30
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Schedule: Per diem availability from July 13 through July 31
