Job description
Join a community-focused retail pharmacy team in Wichita, KS, as a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist. This role provides flexible shifts with manageable patient volumes, allowing you to deliver quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Location: Wichita, KS
Job Type: Per Diem
Shifts are available on a semi-regular basis, including upcoming coverage on Wednesday, 5/27 and Thursday, 5/28 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Average prescription volume: 100-125 per day
Robust pharmacy technician support to assist you
Pharmacy software utilized: Rx30
Responsibilities: Accurately dispense prescription medications according to patient needs and physician specifications
Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and safety
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and company policies
Qualifications: Must hold an active, unrestricted Kansas pharmacist license
Strong communication and patient counseling skills
Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and Rx30 software preferred
Ability to manage an average daily prescription workload effectively
Per Diem Travel Benefits for Candidates Residing Over 75 Miles Away: $50.00 daily meal allowance per shift
