Job description
Provide essential retail pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist delivering safe and effective medication dispensing under direct supervision. This per diem role supports retail operations in Washington, Pennsylvania, with a focus on patient counseling and medication management.
Location: Washington, Pennsylvania
Schedule:
1st Shift
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Starting August 7th
Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal standards
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and proper regimens
Address and resolve patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
Maintain pharmacy stock, including controlled substances and accurate inventory records
Clarify and assist with third-party insurance coverage issues to facilitate patient access
Desired Qualifications: Active and clear Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
Proficient with Pioneer pharmacy software or similar systems
Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
