About the Role
A well-funded, Series A/B SportsTech startup operating a peer-to-peer sports prediction market is hiring a Performance Marketing Lead to own and scale paid acquisition across new products and markets. You'll sit at the intersection of strategy and execution — driving full-funnel growth across the major paid channels while working closely with Product, Creative, Legal, Design, and Data teams. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to set the standard for channel excellence at a disruptive consumer platform.
What You'll Do
Design, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, TikTok, Reddit, and X, with a primary focus on scaling new business lines.
Lead full-funnel experimentation — developing hypotheses, running rapid tests, and iterating to uncover scalable growth levers.
Drive creative and message testing in collaboration with design and creative teams, ensuring fast learning cycles and actionable insights.
Oversee end-to-end campaign execution including setup, pacing, monitoring, and troubleshooting to maximize efficiency, CPA, and ROAS.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Creative, Legal, Design, and Data teams to ensure alignment and measurable impact.
Build robust tracking and attribution systems, proactively addressing signal loss and measurement rigor.
Deliver strategic recommendations, testing roadmaps, and performance insights to leadership on a regular basis.
Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging ad tech trends.
Document learnings and best practices to drive continuous improvement across the growth function.
What We're Looking For
Required:
5+ years of performance marketing experience with a proven track record of acquiring users and scaling paid media campaigns.
Demonstrated budget management experience with a focus on ROI optimization and regular performance reporting to leadership.
Proficiency with analytics and attribution tools such as GA4, Data Studio, or Tableau, and a strong data-driven decision-making approach.
Nice to Have:
Hands-on experience managing multi-channel paid media across Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, and X (Twitter).
Ability to design, run, and interpret growth experiments and A/B tests to optimize CAC/ROAS.
Industry background in SportsTech or consumer digital marketplaces.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $130,000 – $170,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location
This role is based in New York, NY. Candidates should be located in New York or able to work from the office on a regular basis. This is an on-site/hybrid position — not fully remote.
