We are searching for a talented Perfusionist
$5,000 new hire sign‑on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)
Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Flexible shifts & hours with On Call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday); 5:30am - 2:00pm and 6:00am - 2:30pm and 8:00am - 4:30pm
Location: Cardiovascular Operating Room - Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Responsibilities
Under the general supervision and direction of the Chief of Cardiac Surgery, operate heart‑lung machine and related equipment. Assemble and operate cell‑savers, intra‑aortic balloon pump (IABP), Abiomed Impellas and ECMO circuits (Cardiohelp). Monitor and record vital signs such as blood flow rates, gas flow rates, EKG, laboratory values and activated clotting times (ACTs). Maintain thorough perfusion records, before, during and after cardiopulmonary bypass. Dis‑assemble equipment, inspect, clean and reassemble equipment and ensure proper storage. Order inventory and store standard supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
Equal to completion of two years of college in a related field or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
Must possess Perfusionist license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Must possess American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) certification, CPR certification and license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay Range
USD $147,056.00 - USD $220,584.00 /Yr.
