Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging for pregnant patients, including high-risk perinatal cases. In this role, you will perform detailed OB and fetal anatomical studies, biophysical profiles, and Doppler assessments using advanced ultrasound technology. You will collaborate closely with maternal-fetal medicine physicians, nurses, and OB teams to support accurate diagnoses and care plans. The position involves patient education, compassionate support, strict adherence to safety and infection-control standards, and accurate documentation in the EMR. You’ll work in a collaborative, learning-focused environment with access to continuing education and system-wide career growth opportunities while helping improve outcomes for mothers and babies across Georgia.
