Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging for routine and high-risk pregnancies within a collaborative, patient-focused environment. This role performs detailed OB and perinatal studies, including fetal anatomy, growth, Doppler, and biophysical profiles, following AIUM and departmental protocols. The sonographer works closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring accurate documentation and clear communication of findings. Responsibilities include educating and comforting patients, maintaining ultrasound equipment, adhering to safety and infection-control standards, and participating in quality improvement and ongoing education. This position offers exposure to advanced perinatal care models, strong clinical resources, and the opportunity to impact maternal and fetal outcomes across Wellstar’s integrated health system.
