Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to join our collaborative maternal-fetal care team. In this role, you will perform high-quality perinatal and obstetric ultrasound exams, supporting maternal-fetal medicine specialists and OB providers with accurate, timely imaging. You will explain procedures, obtain relevant patient history, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse families. Responsibilities include operating and optimizing advanced ultrasound equipment, documenting findings in the EMR, and maintaining strict safety and infection control standards. You’ll participate in quality initiatives, continuing education, and cross-disciplinary teamwork across Wellstar’s integrated health system, with opportunities for professional growth and community impact.
