Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to join our collaborative maternal-fetal care team serving high-risk obstetric patients. In this role, you will perform advanced obstetric and perinatal ultrasound examinations, including detailed anatomy, growth, Doppler, and biophysical profiles, using state-of-the-art imaging technology. You will work closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, OB/GYNs, and nurses to provide accurate, timely imaging that guides complex care decisions. Responsibilities include obtaining patient histories, educating patients and families, ensuring image quality, documenting findings in the EMR, and following all safety, infection control, and privacy standards. You’ll participate in ongoing education, quality initiatives, and multidisciplinary case collaboration.
