Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to join our collaborative, patient-focused maternal-fetal care team. In this role, you will perform high-quality perinatal and obstetric ultrasound exams, including detailed fetal anatomy, growth, and high-risk pregnancy studies. You will work closely with maternal-fetal medicine physicians, OB/GYNs, and nurses to support timely, accurate diagnoses and care planning. Responsibilities include optimizing ultrasound equipment, documenting findings in the EMR, educating and comforting patients, upholding safety and infection control standards, and participating in ongoing education and quality improvement within our not-for-profit, community-focused health system.
