Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to join our collaborative maternal-fetal medicine team in Georgia. In this role, you will perform high-risk obstetric and perinatal ultrasound exams, producing accurate, high-quality images to support timely clinical decisions. You’ll work closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, OB/GYNs, and nurses in a patient-focused environment that values compassion, integrity, and inclusion. Responsibilities include explaining procedures to patients, documenting findings in the EHR and PACS, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and accreditation standards. Wellstar offers access to advanced imaging technology, robust clinical resources, and ongoing education within a large, innovative not-for-profit health system with diverse hospitals and care settings. This position supports community health by improving outcomes for pregnant patients and their families.
