Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to join our collaborative maternal-fetal medicine team. In this role, you will perform high-quality obstetric and perinatal ultrasound exams, including detailed fetal anatomy, growth, and Doppler studies, following established protocols and safety standards. You will work closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, OB providers, and nurses to support accurate diagnosis and care planning. The sonographer ensures compassionate, patient-centered care, educates patients and families, maintains and troubleshoots equipment, documents findings in the EMR, and participates in ongoing education and quality improvement in a dynamic, community-focused health system.
