Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to join our patient-focused maternal-fetal medicine team in Georgia. In this role, you will perform high-quality obstetric and perinatal ultrasounds for both routine and high-risk pregnancies, following established protocols while using sound clinical judgment. You will collaborate closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, OB/GYNs, and nurses to support accurate diagnoses and care planning. Responsibilities include obtaining diagnostic images, documenting findings in the EMR, educating and reassuring patients and families, and maintaining ultrasound equipment and safety standards. You’ll work in a collaborative, learning-focused environment with access to advanced technology, ongoing education, and clear pathways for professional growth within a large, integrated health system.
