Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to join our patient-focused maternal-fetal care team. In this role, you will perform high-quality obstetric and perinatal ultrasounds, accurately assessing fetal anatomy, growth, and maternal structures to support complex pregnancy care. You will collaborate closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, OB/GYNs, and nurses in a compassionate, multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities include explaining procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and safety, maintaining and optimizing ultrasound equipment, documenting findings in the EMR, and adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
