Job description
As a Perinatal Sonographer at Wellstar, you will perform advanced obstetric and perinatal ultrasound exams for high‑risk and routine pregnancies in a collaborative, patient‑focused environment. You will work closely with maternal‑fetal medicine specialists and obstetric providers to obtain diagnostic images, recognize and document fetal and maternal abnormalities, and support timely clinical decisions. Responsibilities include preparing and educating patients, optimizing imaging protocols, maintaining ultrasound equipment, adhering to safety and infection‑prevention standards, and accurately documenting studies in the EMR.
