Job description
WellStar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to join our collaborative, patient-focused maternal-fetal care team. In this role, you will perform high-quality obstetric and perinatal ultrasound exams, including detailed fetal anatomy, growth, and high-risk obstetric studies. You will partner closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, nurses, and other clinicians to support accurate diagnosis, care planning, and excellent patient experiences.
As part of WellStar’s not-for-profit, integrated health system, you will work with advanced imaging technology, strong clinical protocols, and multidisciplinary teams committed to compassionate, evidence-based care. Responsibilities include obtaining and documenting quality images, maintaining equipment, supporting quality and accreditation initiatives, and educating patients about procedures.
