Job description
Position Summary
Asante Physician Partners is seeking a full time BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist to join our current 2-person practice in beautiful Medford, OR. Our board-certified physicians provide 24-hour consultative call coverage 7 days per week for the region and hospital. We provide a full spectrum of consultative, ultrasound and prenatal diagnostic services. Currently, the practice is consult-only with the option to have a delivery service. This well-established, respected practice has a stable referral base; clinic volumes have continued to grow over the last several years.
Position Qualifications
Experience
5 years of experience in Obstetrical/Maternal Fetal Medicine is required
Evidence of previous management education and/or a commitment to enhance management education/skills is preferred
Education Licensed physician and graduate of an approved medical school is required
Board Certified/Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine is required
Required Certification/Licensure Maternal Fetal Medicine Boarded by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ABOG) Obstetrical Medicine Boarded by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Oregon Medical License
Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's License with proof of safe driving record for the past 10 years and proof of insurance is required upon start
MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners
Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges
Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
