Periodontic Dental AssistantOur amazing practices here at Wellesley Dental Arts is seeking a Perio Dental Assistant to support our Periodontist in delivering exceptional care. Apply now to learn more!Schedule: 1 Day/Week - TuesdaysResponsibilities:Strive to provide the best patient experienceSupport and Assist Periodontist chairside with clinical treatment of patients.Assist with documentation and the upkeep of recordsListen, empathize and address all patient concernsProvide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health.Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up, including sterilization process.Take radiographs/x-raysSupport front desk and office manager as needed with admin needs, patient calls, etc.Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of Periodontic Dental Assisting experienceCRP Certification- Radiography/ X-RAY certification per state guidelinesWell versed in dental terminology and proceduresMaintains a positive, collaborative and supportive disposition with team and patientsMaintain compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training).Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009Dental Assistants Receive:Clinical hours that support work-life balanceMentoring by top-rated, experienced clinicians401(K) Plan
