nJob Description:
nAs a Full-Time Perioperative RN at Chattanooga Pain Center, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing various pain relieving surgical procedures. Working closely with our experienced surgical team, you will contribute to ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients throughout the perioperative process.
nResponsibilities:
nnCollaborate with the surgical team to plan and implement patient care during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
nAssess patients' physical and emotional needs, providing appropriate nursing interventions.
nAdminister medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with anesthesia administration.
nMaintain a sterile and safe surgical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
nCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
nDocument patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.
nParticipate in continuous education and professional development opportunities.

nRequired Skills
nnValid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
nGraduate of an accredited school of nursing
nMinimum of 3 years of perioperative, pre, postoperative or OR nursing experience.
nBLS and ACLS certification.
nLongevity in past roles.
nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.
nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
