Job description
As a Surgical Technologist II at UF Health in Gainesville, you will play a key role on the perioperative team, preparing and maintaining sterile fields and surgical instruments for a broad range of procedures. You will anticipate surgeon needs, ensure proper equipment and implants are available, and uphold the highest standards of sterile technique and patient safety. Working in UF Health’s collaborative, academic environment, you will support groundbreaking care, mentor newer staff, and participate in quality and process-improvement initiatives that advance both patient outcomes and your professional growth.
