Job description
Dollar General is seeking a Perishable Department Lead to support the Store Manager in managing produce, fresh meat, dairy, bakery and other perishable areas. You’ll help maintain stock, merchandising, and customer service while upholding safety and asset protection.
You’ll train associates, monitor inventory and markdowns, and ensure compliance with food handling rules. Previous retail supervisory experience and at least a high school diploma are preferred.
